To Be Or Not To Be

This is the review of play "The Creeper" which I saw as part of the The Hindu theatre festival on 9th August. This review was also published in the Hindu dated 12-Aug-2008. After going to the venue found that one of the actors was Abhishek Mazumdar, one of the winning playrights himself. "Creeper" creeps into your conscience slowly - first starting as a light-hearted comedy to conflict and then confession. Starting with rip roaring performance, interspersed by colloquial jokes, fighting to start narrating a story got transposed to a magical box that opened a chest of stories - poignant and aptly revealing the 'To Be's and 'Not to Be's of urban middle-class living filled with stress, identity crisis and conflicts. Yet somewhere the sutradhar lost the string that connects it all. From nostalgia to digital living to an intimate scene in terrace - this modern Vikram & Bet-'all' managed to confuse and capsule the audience with some metaphorica...

Prepared this case study for Service Marketing Management assignment in 2007. The case is based on real life experience of working in a 24*7 support project. 1. The case study Paramjeet opened his eyes to the beep of the pager at 6:00 am, saw the message and again pulled the cover over himself. It was the offshore to onsite transition reminder and the official responsibility to handle any issues in the systems was upon him from now. Another hour passed by and just as he was about to start from his home to the Santa Clara office of his client, he received another pager.
